Bird Food.

Note: This oatmeal was not actually made with bird food.

This morning I has so many warm fuzzy feelings after waking up next to my little snuggily puppy, I had been away for a week and missed her so much, and a wonderful email from Immu who is still traveling :( I wanted something for breakfast that would be just as warm and loving. Oatmeal.

Of course I did not have any in the house and was not up for the grocery store at 6am. So I drove to my favorite coffee cafe for some pumpkin spice coffee and of course oatmeal only to find they are not open Sunday morning. what thghjkdfghjfd.

Well I had to make it myself and it was delicious. Earlier last week I made my own granola bird food mix at whole foods for our trip to Brunswick and forgot it so I topped the oatmeal with that. A win-win situation in the end.

Granola Mix: oats, Sunflower seeds, Almond slices and shredded coconut.

Oatmeal : Old Fashioned Rolled oats (Gluten Free) and Almond milk. Simply follow directions. I also added a little cinnamon, vanilla, and a dollop of honey to the milk while cooking.

Obsessions

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and sometimes, almost all the times, Oatmeal is the best choice. Mainly because you can be as creative as you want and 99% of the time it will be Delicious.

With Oats having such a small subtle flavor you can do almost anything with them .This I will show you with my blogs about my love affair with oatmeal.

Welcome and I hope this inspire you to unleash your creative genius in the kitchen.
